Why go solid?
Lush perfumer Alina explains, “the balm base in solid perfumes acts almost like a slow-release mechanism. It helps the fragrance sit closer to the skin, warm gradually, and evolve gently over time. The result is a softer, longer-lasting scent that feels like it really becomes part of the wearer.”

Self-preserving
This product is formulated to stay fresh without synthetic preservatives. We achieve this with natural preservatives and clever product formulation.

Organic Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Organic Castor Oil (Ricinus communis), Organic Candelilla Wax (Euphorbia cerifera), **Perfume, Alpha-Isomethyl ionone, Titanium Dioxide, Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Clary Sage Oil (Salvia sclarea), Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia), Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax tonkinensis pierre), *Anise Alcohol, *Benzyl Benzoate, Coumarin, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 15850:1

We do not test our products on animals and we only purchase ingredients from suppliers who are not in any way involved in animal testing. Not only we do not support such practices but also each year through the LUSH Prize of 250,000 British pounds we reward initiatives across science and campaigning that work to end or replace animal testing with alternative testing methods.
